Behind the Torch – The Marantu Dispatch
This week, the lesson came from my garden.
I caught myself watering only where I’d planted the seeds, the visible hope, the expected return. And then I thought: what about the rest of the soil?
In life, in art, in building Marantu, I’ve learned that you can’t only pour effort into what you recognise. The unknown spaces deserve water too.
Because sometimes what grows wasn’t planted by your hand.
We talk about focus as if it’s exclusion. But maybe true focus is attention – a gentler kind that includes even what we don’t yet understand.
So, I am watering the whole garden now.
Even the places I’ve never seen sprout.
